Two weeks before USANA's high-profile 2023 South Korea international expo we were brought on to audit the project status on behalf of USANA to evaluate the project and provide the vendors a roadmap, task list and priorities needed to hit the deadline for the launch of USANA's internal Ecommerce system for their Brand Partners.
Upon the launch date and presentation time both their hosting company and contracted development team failed to deliver — simultaneously. With a major international event in crisis and no functioning platform, USANA needed someone who could step in, assess a complex crisis, and take command of a situation two other teams had already fumbled.
Jared came in after normal business hours and rapidly diagnosed the vendor failures cascading across infrastructure and application layers, built a plan on the fly, rallied partners and trusted vendors, and delivered a working platform for the event. The hosting provider and dev team both pointed fingers at each other and we finally made the decision to cut them both out of the process to save the project. The whole thing was resolved in a matter hours.
Our hosting company and dev team both dropped the ball on our 2023 South Korea expo at our at our pre-appointed critical presentation to our brand partners live on stage. Jared was the only one to reply to our support needs and dropped everything to step in when we needed it. — He assessed the entire situation, took command, triaged the situation, created new hosting plans, migrated our codebase and worked our single developer that he was able to get in contact with and delivered what two other entire teams couldn't.
